the f1 singapore grand prix just ended, and my god, it was really exciting... though watching it on tv, but it was really heart pounding... the race was full gear and the sound of the engines could be heard from my house... haha, first time so quite refreshing... nvr hear the loud engines in singapore other than jet planes and fighter planes...

actually the practice and qualifying sessions were not as exciting as today's actual race... the previous sessions were quite boring, coz nothing much happened... today's race was way too eventful... 2 crashes, fuel pipe pulled off with the car, and another fuel pipe nearly went with another car... the main highlight: massa, for being in pole position and ending up near the end of the pack after the safety car barrier and the fuel pipe incident...

the marina bay street circuit was not very favourable for overtaking, so today's action was rather limited with little overtaking... only a few overtaking at specific turns, so nothing much to take note of... the lighting was magnificent though... the circuit also not very nice, with a number of bumps here and there, the leaves scattered almost everywhere, and a plastic bag on the track which i noticed during the live telecast of the night race on channel 5... haha, but i think it was rather nice to have such an event here coz it's like almost impossible to actually host such events on a frequent scale, unlike america and europe...

with such an exciting first night race, i'm sure future night races would be something not to be missed...
